Since then, our company has flourished to become a premier provider of innovative wastewater treatment solutions throughout Australia and equipment supplier around the world.
CST offers the latest in specialised mechanical and process equipment, built from our ‘hands-on’ experience in the industry and a clear understanding of our clients’ needs. Anaerobic Wastewater Treatment – From Waste Water to Biogas
Wastewaters from the food and beverage industry, pulp and paper mills, and chemical industry are often loaded with organic pollutants and can be advantageously treated by anaerobic processes. Anaerobic treatment of suitable wastewater streams offers a host of powerful advantages, including low sludge production, a smaller footprint, and the ability to become a net producer of energy—rather than a larger consumer.
CST is proud to embrace the worldwide trend towards green energy by offering Anaerobic and Aerobic Treatment with complete tertiary treatment and biogas recovery and utilisation. Our ability to support green energy is made possible through our representation of Global Water Engineering (GWE), an international specialist in Anaerobic Wastewater Treatment. As one of the largest anaerobic process designers in the world, GWE has over 200 plants worldwide as well as vast experience in a host of industries including beer, soft drinks, confectionaries, juices, starch, and pulp and paper. Its impressive roster of clients includes Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Carlsberg, Heineken, SAB-Miller, and Lion Nathan.

Package Wastewater Treatment Plants
In conjunction with our partner Smith & Loveless, Inc., CST has been supplying package wastewater treatment plants to Australia for more than 20 years. From small projects to industrial estates and mining developments, we offer fast, flexible solutions that fit your timeframe and budget. Our ability to build plants using our proprietary equipment provides us with improved control over project coordination, plant construction and costs.
CST offers various solutions for package treatment plants, including:
- FAST (Fixed Activated Sludge Treatment): This modular system can be installed above or below grade and offers high-quality treated wastewater while preserving the amenities of the environment.
- Titan MBR (Membrane Bio Reactor): The latest pre-engineered Wastewater System for municipal and industrial applications, combining S&L’s engineering expertise with existing submerged membrane technology.
